To speed up the implementation of WiFi in the coaches of its TGVs, SNCF was looking for a workshop solution that could be implemented very quickly and that met specific technical requirements, while taking into account the curvature of the tracks to the millimetre.
On a congested site and with staggered work schedules, in just two days our teams assembled two Neivalu juxtaposed double-gantry buildings with a length of 130m. A major assembly constraint was to respect the spacing and the curvature of the tracks, as well as the necessary distances with respect to the overhead lines.
Spaciotempo provided a solution adapted to the configuration of the site and the expected use of the building by juxtaposing two Neivalu buildings, the first of 12m x 65m x 6m and the second 15m x 65m x 6m, thus offering over 1,700m² of workshop space while meeting the comfort and safety needs of SNCF employees. The buildings were equipped with compressed roofs, insulated cladding and a heating system.
Thanks to our experience on complex construction sites, we were able to meet the needs of our customer in a short time, advising them in the pre-project phase, and by closely controlling our supply chain.
